Review- Essence Stay Matt Lip Creams
Well hello there! I've been shopping for lip products like crazy this past month, and I'm happy to report that I've found some treasures that I can't wait to share with all of you! First up, Essence Soft Matt Lip Creams. They're often compared to the NYX Lip Creams, but since I haven't had the chance to try those, here's what I think of them.
Being a matte lover, these are an absolute treat for me! First off, they smell amazinngg, I've caught my self opening the tube just to sniff the lovely vanilal/caramell-y scent, such a treat to put on your lips. Now on to the product itself, being matte, you can expect a bit of trouble and extra effort required whilst applying it but to my surprise, after putting in a lip balm, these were surprisingly easy to put on. Both the colors are super pigmented and last around 3-4 hours with minimal eating and drinking. The only thing you need to worry about is the product getting on to your teeth because that happened alot with me, with both the shades.
On to the shades, Soft Nude, whilst being a really pretty everyday nude in the tube, it just doesn't suit my skin tone. I'm sure anyone with a skin tone lighter than mine would be able to pull it off really well. Smooth Berry on the other hand is what I've been wearing whenever I wanted a bright lip! It's one of those pinks that isn't blue based and it doesn't look off on my skin tone like other bright pinks usually do.
There are four shades in total which include these, a red along and an everyday pink. I'm definitely going to be getting my hands on the other two as well since these are quite a catch! Being a drugstore, matte product they do not disappoint with how comfortable they are to wear.
